The story is exactly what it claims to be. Short and to the point. The pictures were very good. They pulled the book together to make it enjoyable.
It's a great story of love and support for a disabled girl named Elena. It is written well, albeit with two tiny typos. But I enjoyed it! I loved how Elena's mom supported her and protected her from the pitying stares of others by telling her they were staring at her because she was special. Awesome! I totally endorse this book. I enjoyed it, and will enjoy reading it to my own children to help them be sensitive to others with disabilities. Stellar write!
